What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
If you upload images to a website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract any location data from images uploaded to the site.
If you leave a comment on our site, you may agree to have your name, email address and website saved in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you don’t have to re-enter your information when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set some cookies to save your login information and screen options. The login cookies will remain valid for two days, and the screen options cookies for one year. If you choose the “Remember me” option, your login information will be retained for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal information and only indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited another website.
We conduct analytics on site traffic using tools that generally count hits to a site. The analytics are anonymous.
Who we share your data with
To no one.
How long do we keep your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments, instead of holding them in a queue for moderation.
For users who have registered on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they have provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except we cannot change their username).
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left a comment, you can request an exported file of the personal data we have about you, including the data you have provided to us. You can also ask us to delete any personal data we have about you. This does not apply to data that we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes. Here the address of point. IV. 4.
